Recycling Program Updates for Donation and Fundraising Members.

New Recycling Center in Erie, PA - updated April 1, 2009

Recycle4Charity recycling center is now relocated to Erie PA, please register on our new client recycling site and request new shipping labels or boxes if needed and replace all current labels addresed to Hartford CT, Chatsworth CA, Van Nuys CA, and Colorado with our new Erie, PA yellow labels we now have available.

New program highlights and important instructions

Please ship all Laser Toner and Inkjet Cartridges plus Cell Pnones to our Erie, PA Recycling Center.

If you have new surplus supplies to recycle please do not ship them to Erie, PA and contact us first to arrange for pickup, surplus supplies go a different facilities based on items you have.

You can ship items separately or together in the same box to Erie, PA facility but we recomend you ship them sepratley. A minimum of 8 qualifying cell phones, 18 qualifying inkjet cartridges or 8 qualifying laser cartridges are requested. More items shipped together inside one box helps reduce cardboard usage and shipping cost or combine about 10 or more items in one box, please do not exceed 40 pounds per box.

We do not pay for damaged cartriges, items not on our list and remanufactured cartridges, please make sure the bulk of your shipments are qualified cartridges, so some sorting before shipping is recomended to help us save on shipping cost, however we recycle all cell phones so there is no need to sort cell phones, only ink and laser toner cartridges, you can ship all your cell phones to us but we will only pay for the qualified phones on our list and recycle the rest for you according to local laws. Sorting your cartridges before shipping helps us offer you the highest prices available and to contiue to offer free boxes and free shipping.

We now offer boxes for your convenience, plus Just Labels to use on your own boxes. We encourage you to re-use any old boxe no larger than 20x20x24" whenever possible to save cardboard and fuel used to deliver boxes to you, it is better for our earth to reuse shipping boxes - all our boxes ship UPS ground with prepaid return UPS labels attached (do not re-use weak and damaged boxes top protect your shipment).

New price list is now posted on fundraising site and a qualified cartridge list on the donation site, new price list only apply to shipments made to Erie, PA if you ship to the old facility we will pay you a diffent rate plus your shipment details will not be uploaded online. Price list is subject to change please visit site to check the latest pricing posted.

You will see how much we owe you online for each shipment, once you accumulate $25 or more a check will be mailed to you during the next payment cycle, payment cycles are once a month by the 15 of each month. Fox example if we post your shipment on June 5th and $45 is due and another shipment posted June 28 for $5 you will get a check for $50 in July for all of June shipments. If however you only have a shipment for $5 during November and $10 Shipment during December and a $15 Shipment in January now you will recive a check for $30 in February since you acumulated more than $25 to qualify for payment that month. If you decided to close your account at any time you can request a refund of any balance under $25. Your balance will never expire and can be rolled over year to year, there is no minum shipment requirment per month and you can ship only when you accumulate items, send as little or as much as you want, the more the better, we have a high demand for items on our list and will accept any volume you can collect, large volume collectors may qualify for additional bonuses and free gifts.

Please note that all members (donation and fundraising)are requested to register again on the client recycling site, even if you have an account with us already, you will be assigned a new user ID#. You will not see a balance or shipment details online from the old program, only when you start using the new Recycling Center in Erie PA that online shipment details/valuation and buy-back prices will apply.

Checks will be issued that will say Recycling Center on the check and made payable to whoever your specify on the registration form and sent to the address you speciifed for payment. If you need to keep track of checks sent, please have checks sent to your own address and then you can forward them to your charity, school or organization your are supporting, we will not mail any reports with your checks, receiving reports will be posted online.

We hope to always exceed your expectations and provide the best recycling program available in the USA, in a time when other companies are paying less for cartridges and reducing services like accepting toner cartridges for recycling we are growing and improving our program and offering you more money. Checks for May just got mailed out, instead of the checks comming from Recycle4Charity with a statment, the new checks will Say Recycling Center and will be mailed without a statment as we now have your report online. If you are owed any money or have any claims for a missing package under your old account number please let us know right away via email with all the details so we can research it for you.
